Being one of the “oldest kids in town”, Achecker Web Accessibility Checker is a web service that allows you to test the accessibility of your web pages and applications, as well as performing markup and CSS validation. Tests can be performed by entering an URL, upload the file you want to test, or pasting the markup you want to validate.

Issues are broken into three main groups:

  • known problems, meaning that they are “certainly” accessibility issues;
  • likely problems, meaning that they are “very likely” accessibility issues but cannot be said for sure;
  • potential problems, meaning that they could be accessibility issues ass well as non-problems.
