Accessibility Conformance Testing (ACT) Overview

This guide from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) introduces the [Accessibility Conformance Testing (ACT) Rules]({{z ref “act-rules.md” >}}), a set of practical rules that can be used to test the accessibility of a website or application.

These rules are written in a standardized, structured format (the Accessibility Conformance Testing (ACT) Rules Format, currently version 1.0)), and can be seen as “actions” you can perform to assess wether content satisfies Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
