Vincenzo Rubanoon · one minute reading.Being introduced with the slogan “an accessibility visualization toolkit”, TotA11Y is a tool that allows you to test and evaluate the accessibility a web page. It performs several automated accessibility tests, altering the visual rendering of the examined page to reflect the detected issues. In many cases, for each issue, links to support resources on how to fix it are also provided.
TotA11Y is open source. It can be run locally (by embedding it in a website), as a web hosted service (available on the official page), or as a bookmarklet to quickly test any page from the bookmarks bar of your favorite web browser.
