WebAIM Contrast Checker

This service provided by WebAIM (the same company behind the Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool (WAVE)) allows you to quickly check the contrast ratio between foreground and background colors. Colors can be entered either by their hexadecimal value or by using a color picker.

The service reports wether the provided color combination passes WCAG success criteria for normal text, large text, graphical objects and user interface components for both conformance levels AA and AAA.

Finally, the service can also be queried via an API endpoint returning all data in JSON format.
