OpenDyslexic is an open source typeface that aims to help with some of the symptoms of dyslexia, as defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM 5). It supports different font styles including Regular, Bold, Italic, and BoldItalic. OpenDyslexic Mono, and OpenDyslexic Rounded are available as well.

All characteristics in this font (letter shapes, spacing, ETC.) have been used to make letters as distinguishable as possible, and maximize text readability. The font is distributed under a very permissive license and can be installed on many operating systems and platforms; some applications and devices (such as ebook readers) even have this font preinstalled, making it ready to use without requiring additional efforts.
